Chairman’s blog: I look forward to meeting the new PCC for Northumbria

I’M looking forward to meeting the new Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner, Cllr Kim McGuinness, who was recently elected into the role.

I’ve written to her to congratulate her on her success and to say that I’m keen to meet and discuss the challenges faced by Police Officers in Northumbria. I await her response…

Please be assured, when we do meet, I’ll be stressing the fact that a well resourced Force and well supported Police Officers are vital for delivering the quality of service which the public rightly deserve.
